TOLEDO, Ohio–Hillary Clinton launched an aggressive assault on Barack Obama on the eve of today's crucial Ohio Democratic presidential primary, citing a Canadian government memo as evidence the Illinois senator is being duplicitous with voters here.

The memo, obtained by The Associated Press, said Obama's top economic adviser assured a Canadian consular official during a Feb. 8 meeting in Chicago that the Illinois senator's criticism of NAFTA should be read as "political positioning (rather) than a clear articulation of policy plans."
